RSS – as we boasted several times on our site, we built JobExposer, the very first Canadian job search engine built on the RSS technology. Why is it so different from any other job search engines? Because, thanks to the RSS technology, it could incorporate a feed from any job board around the globe as long it is in the RSS format. What’s the value?

We aggregate job feeds from major players like Workopolis and HotJobs Canada, US- and UK-based sites like Craiglist and CWJobs that feature job postings for Toronto, niche sites like Perl.org and OK/Cancel, and from blogging communities MSN Spaces and Live Journal.

Using the search, you can tap into the mainstream and hidden job market. And the best yet to come! The board is still in the “beta”. We are working towards letting you save your searches and receive the job postings you are interested in, in virtually real time. In a nutshell, we would like to RSS-ize the Job Search and Job Supply believing that the RSS technology is the right media for the task.

The same could be said about getting the real-time info to some occupations and road warriors that may require receiving info in real-time on their mobile devices (traders, salespeople, real estate developers etc.). These areas are not in the sphere of our immediate interests, for now. However, should the right people come along...?
